BDM Preceptorship
The BaleDoneen Method® Preceptorship program is now a 3-day course with more collaboration, Q&A, case presentations and panel discussions! The course will teach health care providers necessary measures to prevent heart attacks, ischemic strokes and type 2 diabetes. This intensive three-day presentation uses an interactive format for BDM cardiovascular prevention training. Continually updated literature and sound, measurable, evidence-based science and peer-reviewed journals are utilized in this dynamic method of prevention that applies research directly to the BaleDoneen Method clinical preceptorship setting.
You will return to your practice with clinical tools to help you implement what you’ve learned about optimal care and CVD prevention. This course welcomes all medical providers (MD, DO, NP, PA, PharmD, etc.) as well as all dental providers who are interested in patient wellness, the prevention of heart attacks, ischemic strokes and diabetes. The BaleDoneen Method® was co-founded by Bradley Bale, MD and Amy Doneen, DNP, ARNP, for the prevention of heart attacks, ischemic strokes and diabetes. The BaleDoneen Method is designed to improve and save lives and is being integrated into practice by medical and dental providers on a global basis.
Optimal Care
There are six basic elements to the BaleDoneen Method:
- Education of the patient
- Disease evaluation
- Fire/Inflammation
- Root causes of disease
- Optimal goals to minimize risk
- Genetics
The BaleDoneen Method challenges the current standard of care by proposing a disease treatment paradigm rather than a risk factor paradigm. The disease treatment paradigm is founded on the discovery of whether plaque is present in the arterial bed, which indicates that the patient is at risk for heart attack, ischemic stroke or diabetes and must be properly treated. The BaleDoneen Method operates on the presumption that these three health care issues are preventable.
Reviews
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I attend the Preceptorship Course a second time?
We welcome repeat class members, and offer a reduced tuition.
What materials will I receive?
You will be given detailed course materials with a complete syllabus and references.
What’s the difference between the preceptorship and the online training?
The live preceptorship is hands-on, in-person, immersive, and interactive. It offers real-time mentorship, case review, and direct feedback from Brad, Amy, and clinical leaders. The online training is just that, the preceptorship in a virtual setting.
How does the preceptorship improve clinical confidence?
You learn the “why” behind every step, which makes it easier to apply the method with clarity and purpose in real practice.
Do I need to finish the online course before attending?
It’s helpful, but not required. The preceptorship will reinforce what you’ve learned and show you how to implement it.
Will I leave the preceptorship ready to start using the method?
Yes. Most providers start applying what they’ve learned right away. You will receive great support from our team to get started.
What if I get stuck when I return to practice?
You’re not alone. We offer post-training mentorship and clinical updates to guide you through every phase.
